Meet Your Instructor

Hi! My name is Mo Walker, and I’m so excited that you’ve made the decision to invest in a better future for yourself and your family.Growing up in poverty taught me that sustainability is the key—not just for my life, but for my community as well. That’s why I made it my mission to build community gardens and teach others how to grow food for themselves. But I don’t want to stop there. Instead of handing you a plot of land and watching you spend hours scrolling social media trying to figure it all out, I’ve taken everything I’ve learned over the last 10 years and simplified it into 4 easy steps that will teach you how to grow food for your family—no guesswork, no overwhelm. The #1 thing I’ve learned on this journey? 👉 You don’t need heavy equipment or professional degrees to grow amazing food right in your backyard. Once you understand the timeless principles of seed, time, and harvest, the possibilities are endless. Since 2020, my community garden has produced hundreds of pounds of fresh food every year for local food pantries—and now we’re introducing the same 4-step system into local schools. If you’re concerned about our food systems, I get it—I am too. That’s why I created the Gardens of Goshen Online Course: to help families grow nutritious food at home and break free from rising prices and contaminated store shelves.I can’t wait for you to begin this journey. Let’s grow together.
